Gotta love the tilt shift effect, makes it look like real life Legoland.
I thought this was quite awesome. Comparing to the original version, the robots did well!
Genius.

Weather’s good and we’re free, so we decided to head over to Pulau Ubin for some off-road biking! Apparently this is the new off-road course built by NEA. It’s categorised into 1 Black Diamond and 2 Black Diamonds. Being novice, we hit the 1 Black Diamond track.
The course was actually not that tough, it’s the slippery mud (due to a slight shower earlier on) that made it harder and more dangerous. But it was fun! Oh, and they have a new skill course (look out for a sign that says “Pushpin”. It’s a short off-road course with many bumps, humps and turns. Good warm-up for the actual off-road course.

Just look around the next time you visit a electronics shop, you will realize that many products spot Apple’s design cues. And the man behind the design magic is none other than Apple’s Senior Vice President of Design, Jonathan Paul Ive CBE (casually called Jony Ive).
During Apple’s lowest point, the visually stunning iMac G3 was the product that brought Apple back to the center stage again. And from that point on, there was no stopping Jonathan and the Apple Design team. From the iBook to the PowerBook, all Appleās products were met with universal acclaim and became instant masterpieces of product design, spawning countless imitations.
His design philosophy of less is more, combining form, function and beauty has been the inspiration and reference for many of my design related work, be it websites or application user interface.
He’s literally my idol (YES I AM A GEEK). So I decided to put together some of his works in photos and videos. So enjoy and be inspired!

Tweenbots are human-dependent robots that navigate the city with the help of pedestrians they encounter. Rolling at a constant speed, in a straight line, Tweenbots have a destination displayed on a flag, and rely on people they meet to read this flag and to aim them in the right direction to reach their goal.
Watching the video just gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling :)
