Left school at around 6pm yesterday, took the train down to Somerset to meet up with my cousins and aunts for dinner at Sakura Orchard. Long ride.. But luckily I have HotFudge – South Park is damn power! Anyway I was there early, so I went to visit Roxanne. Before long.. it was dinner time.!
The stuffs are more or less the same, but I find that the food quality and freshness is lower as compared to the Safra Tampines branch. But…..I still love their Japanese Unagi (Kabayaki)! Skewers after skewers of unagi…yuummmmmm.. Food aside, I really enjoyed the company of my cousins, joking around, making a fool of them and myself, catching up with each other. Great times.
After dinner, the young ones went to catch a movie – The Departed. It’s a Hollywood version of the Hong Kong hit Infernal Affairs. I don’t know about the others, but I enjoyed the movie. Jack Nicholson is simply amazing.. Watching him alone, makes the ticket worth. Lots of gore, blood splashing around and the F word practically became a noun, verb, adjective, pronoun in the movie.
