I was at iShop last week… wow… There’s a lot of people browsing…But they still provide good service. Left me a deep impression even though what I bought was only a Belkin LCD Cleaning Kit $9.90…
Just ordered an iMac from iShop. The salesman was like addressing me “Sir” in every sentence. That aside the service is really quite good…

The minute I step into iShop (I was just wearing a t-shirt and berm), the sales personnel just step forward offering help straight away, while at AC@O, they don’t even bother to take a look at you unless you are an ang mo or look like someone with $$$ to spend. That’s my personal experience. Thumbs up for iShop
Sometimes a good deal isn’t enough. It’s the satisfaction you get out of the whole experience.

nice short article! i mean i didnt believe that AC@O had such bad service (what i do now know of course) but it seems like the reviews are really lousy!
at least when i read that they had this unknowledgeable female part timer in ishop, they didn’t say she was rude or something.. but the AC@O ones were rude and biased in their treatment.
it’s good advert for ishop on all the forum threads, hope business gets better hahaha
Apart from these reviews/comments, I saw with my own eyes how bad the service was. The people there only want sale. Service is secondary. That’s one of the reason why I moved over to iShop
actually i talked to fw about this, she mentioned a good point that there are more part timers in ishop, so perhaps the ppl at ishop are more pia, and are more willing to give better service than full timers (which you said aco has more)
she’s got a point there too. But whether the others are pia-ing to get sales or not, I believe in providing good service. A happy customer will be a returning customer.
