Heineken Green Room

Thanks to Carrie (Thanks again!), I got invites to the Heineken Green Room party. But being Carrie the super duper nice lady she is, she got another extra invite for me! As such, my buddies: Mambo warrior Ah Kow and Mambo king Zhi Hao got to be there too!
My first time to a Heineken Green room music event, though I’m not a music junkie, it’s kinda interesting to go to a party that’s held on a Heli-pad! Furthermore, it’s organised by Zouk. Anyway Gang Starr rocks! they were spinning Jazz Hip-hop, I’ve got no idea what’s that, but hey it’s got some retroness elements in it, not very heavy like pure hip-hop, kinda smooth, I Like! I thing I learn about Hip-hop DJs is that the phrase “Mother F***er” is always at their mouth though.
The crowd is at least 21 and above. Actually I’m considered a small kid there! Yeah, so we got to meet a lot of “Jie-Jie”. oooooohh they are hot!
Meet a lot of new friends that night. Carrie side: Wayne and his gang. From Kow’s side: the always fun-loving SMU-ians! June, Ying Ai and Kym. And of course not forgetting Ah Kow and Zhi Hao, it’s always, ALWAYS fun with them around, no matter where we go!
Had a lot of booze that night. The killer was the “warm-up” that we had before the event. I downed one big bottle (640 ml) of Carlsberg Special Brew + 1 can of Kilkenny. Then it’s more heavenly juice up at the event. I practically lost count of how much I drank. hahaha.
Great event, great people, great time!
p.s: I’m not postings the photos, they are all blurred- the results of too much booze.

once a while is ok? you got to be kidding me dude. You don’t have to show to your friends that you are Steady or ON.. just becos they offer you a puff. Dissapointed with you dude… so much for SENG Blood. Look at chua, ah koh offer him a puff, he smack his head.. tats the way to go.
of coz self discipline is more impt… impt is 1 thing… doing it is 1 thing… if got self discipline.. u wont touch a puff… this is just a thin red line btw self determination… u determine not to touch.. means not to touch liaoz

I know my limits. And if you don’t know, that’s my only puff since like how many donkey years? Ya you might argue that a puff is still a puff. And I know that you guys are coming from an angle thinking that smoking is bad for health; and you don’t want me to harm myself. But why don’t you guys take a step back and think, ain’t drinking bad for health also?
Then again , you might argue that drinking is not as bad as smoking, but drinking is intoxicating yourself, and it’s bad, no matter how much is the quantity.
Knowing that too much alcohol is bad for u, did u stop drinking? No. But U do know when to stop, that is, when u reached ur limit.
As for the puff I took, it’s just out of curiosity and that’s about it. Not to show off or anything.
Our uncle once said: Good things must learn, bad things must know.
Hope you guys remembered that phrase.
I’m just trying out new things, it’s no big deal. Yes, it’s morally wrong, but hey, are u morally correct every single day? Humans are born with flaws, a perfect human ain’t a human, it’s a robot, a thing, an object.
Let’s put this issue aside and move on. It’s not worth our relationship.
One big diff is. you will get hook on smoking but not alcohol(hardly)
It be good that you don’t get hook, but then again you can easily say no to the person tat offer you right. And you say you take out of curiosity and bad things must know, so i hope thats the last time we will see you doing that as you have already tired.
Well, this is your life, we cousins can only say this much, we leave it to you to live your life then.
Getting hook on alcohol has the same difficulty as smoking. It’s just the matter of self-control.
And I’m sure I have plenty of that.
You said I could just say no to the offer. Yes I could have, but I choose not to, not because I’m out of my mind or that I’m under the influence of the alcohol we had that night. It just pure curiosity, nothing else.
Then I would ask you: Did you say no when you were offered your first sip of alcohol? I bet you didn’t. And you are still drinking now. Does it make you more “addicted” to alcohol? I’ll leave it up to your analogy.
To me, to have fun, sometimes we need to give and take some.
Let me qoute an incident. Remember our chalet at aloha loyang? Remember James (Ah Song) and his wife once said that they will not touch alcohol (after they join the church) ? But guess what, they gamely drank with us. It’s not that they are morally bad. It’s just going with the flow, be in the party, putting aside some principles, have some fun, just for that moment.
Of course I respect your principles in life. I have my own set of principles. But like I said in my previous post, let’s put this small issue aside, and move on.
self-control… u have a plenty of that… ok understood.. i hope it is the self-control for the correct things… anyway… wei, gab… let us just move on… as i said aready… self-control, self-discipline, self determination, are all words that be easily said… but doing it, is another thing
just like crossing the road, u can say that u are a very careful person, u wont kena accident, but can u resassure that the “driver” is a careful person? u cant rite?
k :) lets get over with… and dun let this issue affect our clubbing event in the future… btw gab, u and i are not paid by god ma to monitor ah wei, so.. y care? lol just enjoy those moment when the 3 of us are together, and the care-less moments when all our MUMs is not there to NAG and KP at us lol :)
