This is the period where all the Universities in Singapore would engage in aggressive marketing campaigns in a bid to attract potential geniuses. I guessed SMU got too engrossed that they made some spelling errors.

Thanks to Carrie (Thanks again!), I got invites to the Heineken Green Room party. But being Carrie the super duper nice lady she is, she got another extra invite for me! As such, my buddies: Mambo warrior Ah Kow and Mambo king Zhi Hao got to be there too!

My first time to a Heineken Green room music event, though I’m not a music junkie, it’s kinda interesting to go to a party that’s held on a Heli-pad! Furthermore, it’s organised by Zouk. Anyway Gang Starr rocks! they were spinning Jazz Hip-hop, I’ve got no idea what’s that, but hey it’s got some retroness elements in it, not very heavy like pure hip-hop, kinda smooth, I Like! I thing I learn about Hip-hop DJs is that the phrase “Mother F***er” is always at their mouth though.

The crowd is at least 21 and above. Actually I’m considered a small kid there! Yeah, so we got to meet a lot of “Jie-Jie”. oooooohh they are hot!

Meet a lot of new friends that night. Carrie side: Wayne and his gang. From Kow’s side: the always fun-loving SMU-ians! June, Ying Ai and Kym. And of course not forgetting Ah Kow and Zhi Hao, it’s always, ALWAYS fun with them around, no matter where we go!

Had a lot of booze that night. The killer was the “warm-up” that we had before the event. I downed one big bottle (640 ml) of Carlsberg Special Brew + 1 can of Kilkenny. Then it’s more heavenly juice up at the event. I practically lost count of how much I drank. hahaha.

Great event, great people, great time!

Weekend supper time. This week, my brother and I went to Simpang Bedok. I’ve always love visiting Simpang Bedok because of its rustic kampong feel. This time round, we went to this shop called Friz Grill @ 89.7 Eating House. The first thing that one of the owners introduced us was the “die die must try” Roti John King. According to him, it’s the best seller there. We ordered one of that, Mee Goreng, Teh Peng and Ice Milo.
