The weather was nice, traffic at the checkpoints was smooth, moods were running high. We reached there just in time for lunch. We headed to this place called Da Si Xi for some dim sum. It’s cheap and the quality was acceptable.
Then we shoot straight to Perma Jayas for the highlight of the day: Go-Kart. When we reached there, the track looked empty and the gate was closed!
“Oh Shit..”, we thought.
But luckily, they were just closed for lunch. So we went to this place called Juscos. It is a damn big one-level shopping mall. Nothing much, but I was amazed by the guy who was extracting the coconut flesh from a fresh coconut. (yeah… sua ku urban boy, never see before).

The STIGs.
2pm - We headed back to the track. Paid for the 80cc variant karts, wore the smelly helmets, took some photos and we’re off. First two laps were familiarising laps. After that, all hell broke loose. Never had I experienced such speeds and G-force in my life! Making the corners at neck-breaking speeds, the high-speed straights and the G-force made every penny worth! After the whole thing, I was quite shagged out and made me realised how hard is to drive the Formula 1 car. Total concentration and sizable amount of physical strength are needed.
Then it’s to Holiday Plaza to check out the latest movies and have them delivered to us - nothing exciting here, so I shall skip this part.
For dinner we had seafood - Butter Oat Crayfish, Calamari, BBQ Sambal Stingray, Sambal Kangkong, Hotplate toufu and Venison with Spring onions. The quality is there, especially the crayfish.
Good trip, can’t wait for the next one!!
